2023 Krider Classic 100

Fresno Fairgrounds

About this event

Welcome to the second annual Krider Classic 100, the 7th round of the Fresno Chapter SCCA 2023 championship season and 4th round of the California Autocross Championship! There will be a podium ceremony and trophies for all classes, 1st through 3rd place, presented at the end of the event along with additional special awards. Dash plaques for all competitors will be provided along with required event decals for participating vehicles.

WHAT IS AUTOCROSS?
Autocross, or "Solo," is a timed contest of driving skill. Speeds and hazards to spectators, participants, and property do not exceed those found in normal, legal highway driving. We think it is much more fun than street driving and you can't get a speeding ticket! Best of all, you can enter in your everyday street car!

SAFETY:

All vehicles must pass safety inspection on the following points prior to running:

  1. Working seat belts.
  2. Throttle return action, secure battery.
  3. No oil or antifreeze leaks.
  4. Adequate clutch (if applicable) & brake pedal.
  5. Tires must have measurable thread and be in good condition.
  6. Wheel bearings must have no play.
  7. All loose items, snap-on hubcaps, detachable fender skirts and trim rings must be removed.
  8. Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops).
  9. Helmets are required (Snell M2010/SA2010 or newer)

Some tips for those who may not want to keep the decals on their car or have concerns about residue left on their paint (from the SCCA Time Trials website).
1) Make magnets. Magnetic sheet or "vent covers" can be found online and at home improvement retailers. Decals can be placed on this magnetic material and then cut out with scissors to make easily placed and reused partner logos.
2) Lint Barrier: Before applying the decal to your car, press it to your shirt or a shop rag to pick up some lint. This lint will help easier removal and less residue issues than the full decal might.
3) Masking Tape: Use blue or green "painters tape" between the car and the partner decal. The temporary tape will easily peel off after the event.
