MalmstromAFB Airmens Challenge Autocross 7/17/2022

IMPORTANT NOTICE - FOR NON-MILITARY RACERS ONLY: Since this event is taking place on an active military installation, the following will be required of every Non-Military racer by Friday, July 8th @16:00hrs MDT

Experience Required: None, but you must have a valid driver's license or permit. (Junior Karts program is currently not available)

Location: Malmstrom Air Force Base runway

Set-up and Check-in: Set-up begins at 7:00 a.m. Check-in closes at 8:30 a.m. You may be asked to show your Driver's License and/or your SCCA Membership card. PLEASE fuel up and eat before you come!

Competition Fees: 

ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY: $25.00

RETIRED MILITARY VETERANS: $35.00

NON-MILITARY: $45.00

If you plan on participating in future SCCA events, we highly recommend getting an annual SCCA membership.  For future events held at Montana ExpoPark & at Helena's RMESTC track, the Non-SCCA members must pay a Weekend Membership fee. The annual SCCA membership pays for itself in only a few events. You can join by following this link: https://www.scca.com/pages/join-scca  If you live in the Great Falls or Helena area, you would choose "Montana Region 105" as your region . There are no additional regional membership fees for our region. 

Need: Snell 2010, M2010 or SA2010 helmets or newer. (A limited number of loaner helmets will be available on-site.) Here is the link to approved helmet stickers: 2021 Helmet Rules (A download will begin.)

Vehicle: If your car has not previously been inspected this 2022 season, it will require inspection for safety & classification early on the morning of the event. 

If you are driving a Kart, please contact us before you register. Notification is required due to recent rule changes and event requirements.

Passengers: Allowed, must sign a waiver and follow all safety requirements.

Minors: Drivers & passengers under age 18 must have a signed release from parents.  (This can be signed by parents at the event.  If parents are not available at the event, the forms must be signed & notarized in advance.  Contact 406-799-7619 for the release forms.

Spectators: Allowed, at no cost.  

Toilets: Restrooms available on-site.

Please run any errands (fuel, breakfast, cash, etc.) BEFORE you come to the event. 

As a reminder, when you arrive, please promptly proceed to the check-in table located near the trailer. Please check-in and sign the release waiver and get a wristband. You need to pay your entry fees at that time if you didn't pay online.

Track Walk:  Plan to walk the track before the mandatory drivers meeting.  We will announce when the track is open to walk. 

Work Assignments: All competitors are required to perform work assignments when they're not running.  If you have a special circumstance, such as a disability, please let us know at check-in, & we will assign you a compatible work assignment.

You will be required to attend the driver's meeting. We will be holding the driver's meeting at approx. 9 a.m. Registration closes at 8:30 a.m.
